Huida Medical took Booth 31 at the 36th Pathology Academic Conference of the Liaoning Provincial Medical Association, held in Shenyang on July 4 and 5, 2026. Two days of conversations with pathologists and histotechnologists produced something more useful than leads: a clear picture of where consumables fail under real clinical workloads.
That is the reason we exhibit at academic conferences rather than trade fairs alone. A distributor asks about price and lead time. A histotechnologist who cuts two hundred blocks a day asks why sections lift off the slide during antigen retrieval, and that question is worth more to a manufacturer.
Slide adhesion dominated. Several laboratories described section detachment during high-temperature retrieval and extended IHC protocols, and most had been sold a slide described simply as "charged" without any specification of surface treatment. Our technical staff spent much of the two days explaining the distinction between positively charged surface treatment and silane coating, which overlap in practice and are routinely conflated in supplier catalogues, and matching slide types to specific protocols instead of recommending one product for everything.
Cassette performance came up almost as often. Lid deformation inside the processor and lost identification after xylene exposure are common complaints, and both trace back to resin selection and printing method rather than to the cassette design itself. Visitors were able to handle samples from our standard, biopsy and multi-compartment lines and compare them directly.
The remainder of the display covered the workflow end to end: plain, frosted and coloured microscope slides, cover glass in No. 1 and No. 1.5 thickness classes, microtome blades, histology-grade paraffin wax, specimen containers, slide mailers and slide storage boxes.
Hospital pathology departments in China run high daily section volumes, which means defects surface quickly and visibly. Feedback gathered at conferences like this one goes into our specification control and quality management system, and the resulting changes apply to the same production lines that supply our overseas distributors. There is no separate domestic product line. What was on the table in Shenyang is what ships to partners in 100+ countries.
